How to Give a Professional or At Home Massage:

1. Use your body weight so you don’t get tired. A good massage has to do with your positioning, being less about your grip and more about your stance.
2. Oils, Oils, Oils. To prevent uncomfortable friction and help your hands glide easily, use body lotion, body oil or a little bit of olive oil. Use the oils on your own hands and warm them up before massaging them into the body.
3. Avoid pinching or grabbing muscles. You can prevent this by keeping your fingers together and using your whole hand in the massage.Think sculpting and use the same technique.
4. Massage the neck and the shoulders. Make a soft, loose fist and use the base of your hand to apply pressure on the right shoulder, up the side of the neck, then back down. Repeat on the left side.
5. Massage the back. With the base of your hand and the pads of your thumbs, rub circles up and down the spine to warm up the muscles. Then use a kneading motion with your entire hand to gently squeeze and knead the muscles along the spine.

Wow, my heavenly Mobile Styles massage feels simply divine!

Most people can agree that glitter is fun to use, pretty to look at and adds sparkle and shine to even the most mundane items. Glitter describes an assortment of small, colorful, reflective particles that come in a variety of shapes. Glitter particles reflect light at different angles, causing the surface to sparkle or shimmer. Glitter is similar to confetti, sparkles or sequins, but somewhat smaller. Glitter is shiny, glorious and glamorous.
As the holidays near, a fun, youthful, hypnotic way to add oomph and pizzazz to your already intriguing eyes is with powerful glitter eye shadow. Eye shadow adds depth and dimension to your eyes, complements the eye color and makes your eyes appear larger. When you wear glitter eye shadow, your eyes stand out big time and you look major attractive and festive!

Glitter Fun Fact: Since prehistoric times, glitter has been made and used as decoration, from many different materials including stones such as malachite, galena, mica and glass. Modern glitter is usually manufactured from plastic.
The first production of modern plastic glitter is credited to the American machinist Henry Ruschmann, who found a way to cut plastic or mylar sheets into glitter in 1934.  During World War II with German glass glitter available, Ruschmann found a market for scrap material ground into glitter made of plastics. He founded Meadowbrook Inventions, Inc. in Bernardsville, New Jersey, and the company is still a large producer of glitter.
When painted in sparkly glitter of colors galore, the eyes have it, forevermore!

Eye Shadow Fun Fact: Civilizations across the world use eye shadow. Many people use eye shadow to enhance and improve their appearance, but the alluring cosmetic is also used in theater and other plays to create a memorable look, with bright, bold colors. Depending on your skin tone and experience, the effect of eye shadow generally brings out glamour and gains much attention.
Up the volume with glittered eye shadow for off the charts glorious glam!
Glitter eye shadow can be applied in a variety of ways depending upon the desired look and formulation. Typically application is done using fingers and brushes. The most important aspect of applying eye shadow is blending well. When using glitter eye shadow, which gives a more dramatic look than cream or powered eye shadow, not blending the colors together can give off a powerful, majestic look that is filled with mystery and mystique! Magical eyes! Glittered size!

Glitter Fun Fact: Today over 20,000 varieties of glitter are manufactured in a vast number of different colors, sizes and materials. Over 10,000,000 pounds of glitter was purchased between the years of 1989 and 2009 alone. Holy kamoly…that’s mountains of glitter! Commercial glitter ranges from 0.002 square inches to 0.25 square inches. First, flat multi-layered sheets are produced combining plastic, coloring and reflective material such as aluminum, titanium dioxide, iron oxide and blemish oxychloride. These sheets are then cut into tiny particles of many shapes including squares, rectangles and hexagons.
Glittered and glowing glamorous eyes truly hypnotize!
My oh my, you’ve gone over the top glitter wise, making for some sensational eyes!
Eye Shadow Removal: To remove eye shadow, including glittered eye shadow, a commercial makeup remover can be used, though a rich face wash with warm water will generally remove all traces of color. Vaseline works great for removing eye shadow, and all makeup! Eye shadow, eyeliner and mascara may also be removed using baby oil. Another great way to remove both light and heavy eye shadow is using makeup wipes, which can be found at many drugstores and beauty supply stores.
Glitter Fun Fact: Over 6,000 years ago, ancient Egyptians produced glittering cosmetics from the iridescent shells of beetles, as well as finely ground malachite crystal. Researchers believe Mayan temples were sometimes painted with red, green and gray glitter paint made from mica dust, based on infrared scans of the remnants of paint still found on the structures in present-day Guatemala.

Common ingredients in eye shadows consist of talc, mica, sericite, magnesium stearate, colorants and preservatives. For a royal, regal look, let’s add glitter!  Fillers in eye shadows are primarily talc. The liquid binders are typically a silicone and the dry binders are typically magnesium stearate. In order to make eye shadow, there has to be a balance between the fillers, dry binders and the liquid binders.
Glitter Fun Fact: Due to glitter’s unique characteristics, glitter has been proven to be useful forensic evidence. Because of the tens of thousands of different commercial glitters, identical glitter particles can be compelling evidence that a suspect has been at a crime scene. Glitter particles are easily transferred through the air by touch, yet cling to bodies and clothing, often unnoticed by suspects! Interesting! Moral of the story? If you’re setting out to commit a crime, only wear cream or powdered eye shadow. No glitter!
Have you ever got glitter on your couch or in your carpet? You’re best to adapt to the stunning sparkles and leave them there, as trying to remove all the glitter will have you pulling out your hair!

Get a real fashion rise with glittered eyes!
“You absolutely sparkle in your glittered eye shadow. Reds, greens and blues!”
“It adds magic to my eyes and complements my blue eye color too!”
“If you bat your eyes at me I can get a glitter show of intrigue and glamour.”
“If I bat my eyes at you, you’ll be so mesmerized and want it over and over.”
“Some glitter has fallen below your eyes and is running down your cheek.”
“I decorated my face this way. Cosmetics and fashion is bold…not meek.”
Glitter Eye Shadow: Paint your eyes to cool and chic!

It’s a given that colors can affect our moods. Colors appear to us in numerous forms. Man is able to perceive at least 2,000 different shades with the naked eye, and humans get 87% of our sensual impressions through a colored world.
One of the most striking colors for clothing is the neutral color of beige or nude. The other two colors categorized as neutral are white and brown. When dressing for an event, a day at the office or fun in the sun, beige/nude clothing is always in style and always works well.

Beige Fun Fact: The color beige offers some of the warmth of the color brown and some of the crisp coolness of the color white. Though beige can be a relaxing color, there are many ways to wear beige so that the garments don’t come across as dull or boring. Add color, bling and zing with bright or neon colored accessories. Perhaps necklaces, bracelets and rings!
Colors in clothing are important in our lives as they can directly influence our well-being and mood. Each of us has a range of colors that we enjoy and become comfortable wearing. Color Fun Fact: It has been noted that colors can affect our health. A person’s perception of colors depends on several factors: shade; type of light (daylight or artificial – intense or dim); our general welfare; biological rhythms, etc.

Halter tops and halter dresses (referred to as halternecks) are perfect garments to wear in the lazy, hazy, crazy and oh so hot days of summer!
A halterneck is a style of women’s clothing straps that run from the front of the garment around the back of the neck, and leaves most of the back uncovered. The name comes from livestock halters.
The halter style is used with swimsuits, which maximizes sun tan exposure on the back and minimizes tan lines. The halter style also looks cool, chic and gorgeous on tops and dresses, especially sun dresses.

Halter Top Fun Fact: A halter top is a type of sleeveless shirt similar to a tank top, but with straps being tied behind the neck. In another style of halter top, there is only one narrow strap behind the neck and a narrow strap behind the middle of the back, so that it is mostly backless. This design resembles many bikini tops, although it covers the chest more and may cover some or all of the abdomen at the front.
Neckline Fun Fact: The neckline is the top edge of a garment that surrounds the neck, especially the front view. Neckline also refers to the overall line between all the layers of clothing and the neck and shoulders of a person, ignoring the unseen garment. For each item of clothing worn above the waist, the neckline is primarily a style line and may be a boundary for further shaping of the upper edge of a garment with a collar, cowl, darts or pleats.
Wear a halterneck for a look and feel that is fashion sweet! Sweep the fashion world off its feet!
Halter Dress and Halter Top Fashion Tip: Most halter tops and halter dresses are made to wear braless, or come with a built in/sewn in bra. If you choose to wear a bra with a halterneck, the bra is generally strapless to avoid exposing the bra straps. However, as with all fashion, some people choose to wear bras with halternecks either in the same color or a different color as the garment to create a style effect.
With longer hair, the neck strap of a halterneck can be covered by the wearer’s hair, leaving the impression that nothing is holding up the dress or the top. With shorter hair, or for a look that is classy and sassy, wearing the hair in a bun or swept off the shoulders accentuates the stunning halter neckline!
Halt the presses! Break into summer in styling halter tops and halter dresses!

From casual tops, to dresses, to sun dresses, to evening gowns, halterneck clothing is like wearing a diamond on the town!
Dress Fun Fact: A dress (also known as a frock or gown) is a garment consisting of a skirt with an attached bodice, or a matching bodice giving the effect of a one-piece garment. A dress can also be a one-piece garment containing a skirt of any length. Dresses can be formal or informal, dressy or casual. The hemlines of dresses vary depending on the whims of fashion and the modesty or personal taste of the wearer.
Halter dresses are fun and whimsical and help to wipe away the day’s daily stresses.
Top Fun Fact: A top is an item of clothing that covers at least the chest, but which usually covers most of the upper human body between the neck and the waistline. The bottom or hem of tops can be as short as mid-torso (think darling crop tops), or as long as mid-length. Women’s tops are generally paired with skirts, pants or shorts. Tops may be worn loose or tight around the bust or waist, and may have sleeves or shoulder straps, spaghetti straps or noodle straps, or be strapless. The back may be covered or bare.
Halter tops make for a look that is elegant, chic, cool, youthful and are stylish and fun to wear!
Step into the hot days of summer in a sizzling, sensual, hot halterneck, if you dare!

Before the Victorian period, the word ‘dress’ referred to a general overall mode of attire for either men or women, as reflected today in such phrases as “evening dress”, “morning dress”, “traveling dress”, “full dress”, and so on, rather than to a specific garment. By the early 20th century, the words ‘gown’ and ‘frock’ became synonymous with “dress”, with ‘gown’ more often used for formal, heavy or full-length garments. A ‘frock’ or ‘dress’ generally refers to a lightweight, shorter or informal gown.
In the last few decades in the United States, “gown” has lost its general meaning of a woman’s garment in favor of the word “dress”.
Whether you are draped in a gown or a dress, when donned in a halterneck you’ll look and feel your smashing best!

Dress Fun Fact: Beginning around 1915, hemlines for daytime dresses left the floor. For the next fifty years, fashionable dresses became short (think the 1920s), then long (1930s), then shorter (the War Years put restrictions on fabric amounts), then long (the “New Look”).
Since the 1970s, no one dress type or dress length has dominated fashion, with short and ankle-length styles appearing side-by-side in fashion magazines and catalogs.
No matter the decade, no matter the years, halter tops and halter dresses deserve fashion shouts and cheers!
In the magical days of summer, it is the season to throw caution to the wind and feel brave, courageous and glamorous in whatever garments and whatever skin you’re in!
“I see you chose to beat the heat dressed in a halter top, leaving your neckline bare.”
“Summer is a season to leave your stresses behind and get rid of every care.”
“The cut of the top looks fabulous and elongates your sleek, long neckline.”
“Omitting a necklace or a choker leaves a natural look that is truly spot on and sublime.”
“I love the bare back look of the halter. It adds to the playful, youthful look of the top.”
“Halter dresses and halter tops come in all styles: long or short, loose or tight, bare midriff or cropped!”
Halternecks: When dressed in halter tops and halter dresses you’ll feel the exquisite fashion heat! A true fashion diva’s treat!

Polka dot materials are pleasant, playful and pretty. They are also “spot” on in current fashion!  Polka dot is a pattern consisting of an array of large filled circles (discs). Polka dots differentiate from a general spot pattern as polka dots are perfectly even in shape and size, while spots can be irregular in spacing and size (although many people refer to spotted garments as polka dotted).
Many modern polka dot prints include more randomly spaced, sized and colored dots. Polka dots became common on clothing in the late 19th century in the United Kingdom.
Polka dots will remain a garment rated number one until kingdom come!

Polka Dot Fun Fact: The polka dot pattern rarely appears in formal clothing contexts and is generally confined to a more playful attire such as bathing suits and lingerie. Polka dots also make a spotted splash on summery skirts, dresses, shorts and stockings, perfect to wear when running or walking!
The term ‘polka dot’ originated in popularity from the polka dance which was big at the time the polka dot pattern became fashionable. Traditionally polka dots are used in clothing of flamenco dancers and performers due to their stylish flair and festive fun vibration!

Polka Dot Fabulous Fun Facts Featuring Performers:

  1. Frederic Bazille’s 1867 painting Family Reunion depicts two women in blue polka dot dresses.
  2. In 1962, DC Comics introduced Polka-Dot Man, with irregularly-sized and different colored dots.
  3. Bob Dylan wore a large print green polka dot shirt in the photo on the cover of his single Just Like Tom Thumb’s Blues.
  4. Musician Randy Rhoads used a Flying V guitar with polka dots.
  5. Professional wrestler Dusty Rhodes was given a black outfit covered in yellow polka dots during his time in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF).

So may ways, so many reasons, to wear those signature spots known as polka dots. Oh, we love them lots!

In addition to clothing, there are many other polka dot items to choose from, some of which include polka hats and polka jackets. Since its inception, the polka dot fabric pattern has remained popular, and the name polka dot has stayed intact over the years.

The song was written by Paul Vance and Lee Pockriss and was first released in June 1960 by Brian Hyland.
  2. “Polka Dots and Moonbeams” was a popular song with music by Jimmy Van Heusen and lyrics by Johnny Burke, published in 1940. The song was Frank Sinatra’s first hit recorded with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra. The song has become one of the top 100 most frequently recorded jazz standards with arrangements by Gil Evans and others and notable recordings by Lester Young, Sarah Vaughn and many musicians.

For a defining face that stands out and radiates, decorating the eyes is the key. If you choose to only accentuate one facial feature with cosmetics, go with the eyes. The second? Line and color your luscious lips.
When it comes to the eyes, no matter the color or shape, your color choice of cosmetics can make a big difference. The two main eye cosmetics for eyes that shine bright are mascara and eyeliner. If you wish to doll up your eyes with eye shadow, go for the overall look. But if you are toning down, colored mascara and colored eyeliner will do the trick!
Since eyes are the organs of the visual system, use your ornamental eyes to see the world!

Mascara Fun Fact: Mascara is a cosmetic commonly used to enhance the eyelashes. It may darken, thicken, lengthen and/or define the eyelashes and the eyes. Black and colored mascara comes in three forms – liquid, cake or cream – and modern mascara has various formulas.  Most all mascaras contain basic components of pigments, oils, waxes and preservatives.
The Collins English Dictionary defines mascara as, “a cosmetic substance for darkening, lengthening, curling, coloring and thickening the eyelashes, applied with a brush or a rod.”  Mascara can also be used to define the eyebrows, as well.

Eyeliner Fun Fact: Eyeliner is a cosmetic used to define the eyes. It is applied around the contours of the eyes to create a variety of aesthetic effects. Eyeliner is often worn directly above the top eyelashes and directly below the eyes.  Eyeliner was first used in Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia as a dark black line around the eyes. As early as 10,000 BC, Egyptians and Mo wore various cosmetics including eyeliner not only for aesthetics, but to protect the skin from the desert sun.
The characteristics of having heavily lined eyes has been frequently depicted in ancient Egyptian art. The Egyptians produced eyeliner with a variety of materials, including copper ore and antimony.
No matter the color or shape of your eyes, when wearing colored mascara and eyeliner, your mesmerizing eyes will be super sized!

Nancy Mangano’s Makeup Tip: Although I adore heavily made up eyes using black mascara and black eyeliner (a very dramatic effect), colored mascara and colored eyeliner is a beautiful, alluring, fun way to add variety and spice to your face that is oh so nice!
Aesthetic adornment is a cultural universal art and mascara and eyeliner are documented in Ancient Egypt beginning around 4000 BC. At this time, kohl was used to darken eyelashes, eyes and eyebrows. Through Egypt’s influence, kohl usage persisted in Babylonian, Greek and Roman Empires.
Colored mascara and colored eyeliner adds oomph, pizzazz and a pleasing effect to help your face shine brighter!

Eyeliner Fun Fact: Eyeliner is commonly used in a daily makeup routine to define the eyes or to create the look of a wider or smaller eye. Eyeliner can be placed in various parts of the eyes to create different looks with a winged eyeliner or tight lined at the waterline.
Eyeliner can be drawn above upper lashes or below lower lashes or both, even on the waterlines of your eyes. Eyeliner helps your lashes to look lush and full, while also drawing attention to the eyes, or enhancing or changing the eyes’ shape.
Gorgeous colors of colored eyeliner range from black, brown, gray, neon colors, primary colors, pastels, glittered colors and frosty golds and silvers! Is there a color you love? Use your favorite color of eyeliner to highlight your eyelashes both below and above!

If you truly want to bring out the magic and allure of your eyes, match your colored eyeliner and mascara to the color of your eyes. If you’re more bold and daring, mix and match to whatever color choices your prefer. Giver your eyes a special whirl!
Tight Lining Fun Fact: Tight lining is the use of eyeliner tight against the waterline under the eyelashes of the upper lid, and above the eyelashes of the lower lid. Due to the proximity of the membranes, and the surface of the eye itself, waterproof eyeliner is preferred. Tight lining is a technique that makes the eyelashes appear to start further back on the eyelid, making the lashes look longer. Gel eyeliner and a small angled brush may be used to create this look.
All eyes on you: the eye makeup guru!

Eyeliner can be softly smudged or clearly defined. I prefer clearly defined for an edgy, dramatic, eye catching eye!
Five Main Types of Eyeliner:

  1. Liquid Eyeliner
  2. Powder Based Eye Pencil
  3. Wax Based Eye Pencil
  4. Kohl
  5. Gel Eyeliner

Traditional wax based eyeliners are made from about 20 components. About 50% by weight are waxes (Japan wax, fats, or related soft materials that easily glide onto the skin). Typical pigments include black iron oxides, as well as smaller amounts of titanium dioxide and Prussian blue.

Mascara Fun Fact: An increased demand for mascara has led to the development of the many formulas seen in the current market. Despite the many variations, all mascara formulas contain the same basic elements: pigmentation; oils and waxes. Water resistant mascaras have their basis in substances that rebuff water, like dodecane. Non water resistant mascaras have base ingredients that are water soluble.
Mascaras designed to lengthen or curl the eyelashes often contain nylon or rayon microfibers. Additionally, ceresin, gum tragacanth and methyl cellulose are regular ingredients added to act as stiffeners.
Stiffen those luscious, lavish eyelashes with colored mascara that adds length and allure to all lashes!
Mascara and Eyeliner Psychology Fun Fact: The use of mascara and eyeliner to mimic a youthful, childlike appearance exists in various cultures. The typical characteristics include soft cheeks, a round face, soft skin, upturned nose and short chin – often seen as ideal facial characteristics for women. Mascara pulls away the eyelashes from the rim of the eye, creating a doe-like illusion of larger, more open eyes.
No matter your face shape and facial features, you fashion divas, are lovely creatures!
When it comes to stand out features and windows to the soul make no mistake about it: the eyes truly have it!
“I love your yellow eyeliner and your bold orange eyelashes. Mesmerizing!”
“The warm colors highlight my brown eyes and add some super sizing!”
“Your large, colorful eyes are the first feature I see when I look at your face.”
“And my orange blush and nude lipstick add glamour with my exquisite makeup taste.”
“I’ll buy me some colored eyeliner and colored mascara for a much needed change.”
“Buy a variety of colors allowing for a fun, festive, off the charts makeup range!”
Colored Mascara and Colored Eyeliner: Buy colors that match every garment you own for signature eyes that are only your own!

In the realm of jewelry and accessories in fashion, belts are one of the best items to decorate and dress up an outfit. Yes, belts do much more than merely hold your pants up! Perhaps the loveliest of all belts is the chain belt.
A belt is a flexible band or strap, typically made of leather or a heavy cloth, and worn around the waist, or sometimes directly under the rib cage. Chain belts are typically made from precious metals, mainly gold and silver. Platinum, palladium and steel may also be used. These metals are used because they keep their intricate shape and strength, and require minimal maintenance to keep their lustrous shine.

Chain belts and body chains are designed mainly for aesthetic purposes.
Popular Types of Jewelry Chains:

  1. Byzantine: An intricate chain that can be made by the hobbyist from jump rings.
  2. Figaro: A number of standard chain links precede an elongated link all the way through.
  3. Rolo: Round links joined in a simple alternating sequence.
  4. Rope: Rope chain creates the effect of two twisting strands spiraled together, created by many small links which are not completely joined.
  5. Singapore: Links are joined in such a way that even when the chain is untwisted, there is a natural curve to it.
  6. Trace: The simplest chain. The links are uniform in breadth and thickness.
  7. Twisted: The links are joined to where the chain has a twisted look.
  8. Wheat: Long, thin teardrop-shape links that all point in the same direction.

A chain belt around the waist shows off your exquisite fashion taste!
Chain Belt Fun Fact: Chain belts are often made from “fancy” chains, which can be any form of fine metal that can be replicated and joined onto each other to make a chain. Many fancy chains are variations of the standard styles, for example a trace chain formed of heart-shaped links or a curb chain with every other link set with a gemstone.
Bead chains are another popular choice for chain belts. A bead chain is formed of small balls of metal joined by small lengths of wire, not longer than each bead in between.
Chic in chain belts: would I yank your fashion chain?

Chain belts look gorgeous and can doll up a casual outfit or add extra elegance and pizzazz to ritzy, evening attire.
Belt Fun Fact: Belts have been documented as male clothing since the Bronze Age. However, both genders have used belts depending on the current fashion. In the Western world, belts were more common for men, with the exception of the early Middle Ages, late 17th century Mantua, and skirt/blouse combinations between 1900 and 1910. Today, belts are as popular for women as for men, often worn with skirts, dresses and pants.

Other Popular Types of Chains:

  1. Anchor
  2. Belcher
  3. Briolette
  4. Curb
  5. Herringbone
  6. Prince of Wales
  7. Snake
  8. Spiga

With so many types of chains to choose from, and so many styles of belts, you can find a beautiful chain belt for any occasion, ranging from wide to svelte.

Chain Jewelry Fun Fact: In addition to making fabulous belts, chain jewelry is made to encircle parts of the body, namely the neck, wrists and ankles, and they also serve as points to hang decorative charms or pendants.
Make great fashion gains wearing elegant, stunning, chic chains!
“I never knew chain that resembles a chain link fence can look so pretty and chic.”
“Yes, the wide chain links on my belt look large and open,  but also sleek.”
“I love the way the layers of chain drape slinky around your waist and over your hips.”
“Did you notice the way I matched my gold chain belt with the gold lip gloss on my lips?”
“And the gold nail polish on your fingernails and your perfectly polished toes.”
“When mixing and matching your gold chain belt, anything ‘gold’ goes!”
Chain Belts: Sensual, stimulating, stunning in silver too! Would a true fashion diva lie to you?

Gladiator shoes and gladiator sandals are incredibly cool. Much like “gladiators” themselves, gladiator sandals add edge, swagger and a stylish toughness to any outfit.
A gladiator (swordsman) was an armed combatant who entertained audiences in the Roman Republic and Roman Empire in violent confrontations with other gladiators, wild animals and condemned criminals. Gladiators offered spectators an example of Rome’s martial ethics and, in fighting or dying well, they could inspire admiration and popular acclaim.
A sandal is an open type of footwear, consisting of a sole held to the wearer’s foot by straps going over the instep and, sometimes, around the ankle. Sandals can also have a heel.
Combine the gladiator look with a sandal (or boot) and you have a shoe that fits splendidly with dresses or pantsuits.

Gladiator Fun Fact: The origin of gladiator combat is open to debate. There is evidence of it in funeral rites during the Punic Wars of the 3rd century BC, and thereafter it rapidly became an essential feature of politics and social life in the Roman world. Its popularity led to its use in ever more lavish and costly games.
The gladiator games lasted for nearly a thousand years, reaching their peak between the 1st century BC and the 2nd century AD. The games finally declined during the early 5th century after the adoption of Christianity as state church of the Roman Empire in 380.
Gladiator games may have ended, but gladiator shoes will walk with us until the end of time.

Gladiator sandals, shoes and boots get their distinct look by having an open-toed T-bar shoe with multiple straps running across the foot in a style designed to resemble the footwear of ancient Roman gladiators. Whether the straps fit low like a sandal, or run up the entire calf to the knee or the thigh, everyone will notice your glorious gladiator shoes as you walk on by!
Glad to be wearing and walking in gladiator sandals!

Sandals Fun Fact: The oldest known sandals (and the oldest known footwear of any type) were discovered in Fort Rock Cave in the state or Oregon in the United States. Radiocarbon dating of the sagebrush bark from which they were woven indicates an age of at least 10,000 years.
Due to the openness of the shoe, many people wear gladiator shoes in warmer climates or during warmer parts of the year in order to keep their feet cool and dry. Of course, the cool look of gladiator shoes makes them an ideal choice of footwear for most any occasion in all types of weather. A true fashion diva will wear her gladiator boots in the rain or the sun…as the shoe is simply too rocking and fun to take a pass on!

Gladiator Sandal Fashion Tip: Gladiator sandals, shoes and boots look outstanding when worn with clothing that consists of chains, beaded jewelry and leather. The overall aesthetic appeal is off the charts glamour, as well as provokes a tender toughness that says “I’m all that…and then some!” These fabrics, garments and jewelry worn together capture the true image and aura of the gladiator times!
Gladiator shoes tie all of this together: comfort in warm weather, a fierce look that can’t be denied, a look that says I’m confident and provides the wearer an excellent fashion choice!

Gladiator Sandal Fun Fact: Gladiator sandals and shoes may have a sole made from rubber, leather, wood, tatami or rope. The sandal may be held to the foot by a narrow thong that generally passes between the first and second toe, or by a strap or lace, variously called a latchet, sabot strap or sandal, that passes over the arch of the foot or around the ankle. Gladiator sandals and shoes may or may not have a heel (either high or low) or a heel strap.
I find gladiator shoes that tie up the entire calf to be slinky, sensual and stunning!
Gladiator Fun Fact: In 216 BC, Marcus Aemilius Lepidus, late consul and augur, was honored by  his sons with three days of ‘gladiator munera’ in the Forum Romanum, using twenty-two pairs of gladiators.
Though gladiator times seem violent and hostile as spectator entertainment, gladiator shoes bring joy and fashion entertainment to every wearer, as well as to those who see your sensual gladiator footwear.
Oh I would walk five-hundred miles, and I would walk five-hundred more, if I had slinky, sassy, gladiator shoes on my feet fit to adore!
“The gladiator boots slinking up your legs look edgy and sexy. I’m a fan.”
“They do give off a glamorous appeal that says, “Do not mess with me, man!”
“You definitely have confidence to wear them, and ooze with fashion flair.”
“It takes a sassy, strong woman to wear them on her own or on a dare.”
“Your gladiator shoes makes you look like you could truly hold your own in the fashion world.”
“Yes, they give me the toughness of a man with the sensual, sexy, aura of a girl.”
Gladiator Shoes: Wear them: make your feet glad! You’ll never be so glad to step out!

Sure, bikinis and two piece bathing suits are alluring, sensual and a fashion staple of summer, pools, beaches and vacations. For those that dread slinking into two piece swimsuits, or for those of you that find one piece bathing suits more attractive, there are many one piece suits that are sexy as well as comfortable, darling and adorable.
Fit for the body, fit for the ocean…make a summer splash that is sure to last!
A one piece swimsuit is usually a skin tight garment that covers a female’s torso, except the back or upper chest. Many one piece suits are cut stylish and provocative, covering the crucial body parts, yet exposing a semblance of the stomach, back and ribcage.

Swimsuit Fun Fact: Swimwear is described by a number of names, including swimsuit, bathing suit, swimming costume, swimming suit, swimmers, swimming togs, bathers, cossies and swimming trunks.
The most common type of one piece swimsuit is the maillot, or tank suit, which resembles a sleeveless leotard or body suit. There are variants of the one piece bathing suit, including halter neck styles and plunge front swimsuits. Another innovation in one piece swimsuits is the body skin, which resembles a unitard or wetsuit.
One Piece Swimsuit Fun Fact: The modern one piece swimsuit made its appearance in the mid-1900s, when the style was widely described as a maillot. Its widespread acceptance is attributed to Australian swimmer Annette Kellerman. Kellerman marketed these bathing suits and the style became known as “the Annette Kellerman.”

Swimsuit Fun Fact: Rayon was used in the 1920s in the manufacture of the tight fitting swimsuits, but its durability, especially when wet, proved problematic, with jersey and silk also sometimes being used. In the 1930s, new materials were being developed and used in swimwear, particularly latex and nylon, and swimsuits gradually began hugging the body.
Sassy and classy: sexy one piece bathing suits!

During the 1920s and 1930s people began to shift from “taking in the water” to “taking in the sun,” and swimsuit designs shifted from functional considerations to incorporate more decorative features. By the 1930s, the necklines of women’s swimwear plunged at the back, sleeves disappeared and sides were cut away and tightened. With the development of new clothing materials, swimsuits began hugging the body, with shoulder straps that could be lowered for tanning.
Hollywood endorsed this new glamour with films such as Neptune’s Daughter, in which Esther Williams wore provocatively named costumes like ‘Double Entendre’ and ‘Honey Child’.
Create a stir when on the beach in a one piece swimsuit. Durable, attractive, comfortable and downright sensual to boot!

Most swimsuits in western culture leave the head, shoulders, arms and legs exposed. Women’s bathing suits generally cover at least the aereola and bottom half of the breasts, and many one piece suits have amazing cuts and styles as more material can be used to create an eye catching, alluring garment.
Bathing Suit Not So Fun Fact: Germs, bacteria and mold can grow very quickly on wet bathing suits. Medical professionals warn that wearing damp swimwear for long periods of time can cause a number of infections and rashes in children and adults.

Whether you go to the beach for a swim, a good time, a walk or a run, dress up in a fancy, sassy, classy one piece bathing suit and soak up the glorious sun!
One Piece Bathing Suit Fun Fact: Wartime production during World War II required vast amounts of cotton, silk, nylon, wool, leather and rubber. In 1942 the United States War Production Board issued regulation L-85, cutting the use of natural fibers in clothing, and mandating a 10% reduction in the amount of fabric in women’s beachwear. To comply with the regulations, swimsuit manufacturers produced two piece swimsuits with bare midriffs, and dispensed with the skirt panels and other superfluous material.  Enter the two piece swimsuit!
Even with the popularity of the two piece bathing suit, the one piece swimsuit has held her ground and often times is the most dynamic, beautiful, stunning swimsuit around!
So much for swimsuit practicality. Although some swimsuits are designed specifically for swimming competitions or diving competitions, most bathing suits are designed for aesthetic reasons, as is most fashion! Hail the fashion queen…arrive on the summer scene looking better than you’ve ever been seen!
“I bought me the most gorgeous, flattering, fashionable one piece bathing suit today!”
“If you wear it to the beach, I bet you blow every bikini, thong and two piece swimsuit away.”
“I’ll definitely blow everyone else out of the water. My suit is sexy, playful and full of style.”
“I’ll come with you when you make your grand entrance. Watch everyone around you smile.”
“The suit is black with ruffled white trim. Hugs all the right places and makes me look thin.”
“So grand and glorious. Everyone needs to feel wonderful in the skin and the suit they’re in!
One Piece Bathing Suits: A definite fashion win!
