It’s refreshing to see what an impact such a tiny item as the clutch purse can make on an overall outfit! Clutch bags add something special to your attire, and generally, clutch bags are elegant and royal looking.

A clutch purse, or clutch bag, is a women’s accessory item designed to hold a few necessities, such as makeup. a driver’s license and more than likely, your cell phone.  A true clutch purse is designed to be carried by hand, with no attached chain or strap that can be placed over your wrist or over your shoulder.  A clutch purse is intended to be clutched beautifully in your delicate hand!

Clutch bags come in a variety of shapes, brands, styles and colors, and as with all purses, the clutch that you choose to carry may change between outfits and seasons. You can find clutches made from leather, plastic, crocheted, etc., and the fashionable purse can be shaped in a square, a rectangle, heart shaped and covered with flowers or simple beads.

There is surely a clutch bag available for every personality type!

Clutch Purse Fun Fact: The history of purses dates back to the Babylonian era. Purses were more commonly used for carrying money and small valuables. In ancient times, many men and women wore small purses on a belt. By the early 1800s, women began carrying reticules (similar to modern handbags) and the clutch purse emerged.

The most popular type of clutch bag is the evening bag, as clutch purses tend to be more regal and feminine looking than carrying a large handbag. Many clutch purses are decorated with rhinestones and gems, giving off an evening look.

I adore clutch bags, yet they aren’t suited for practicality! On many levels. fashion itself isn’t suited for sensibility, and that is part of the fun and the allure of fashion! Clutch purses, though not always realistic to carry, are always beautiful and beguiling!

Clutch Purse Fun Fact: Clutch bags make great gifts for girlfriends, coworkers, sisters, daughters, mothers, wives, etc. Most every woman owns at least one clutch bag, and if she doesn’t, why don’t you surprise her with a clutch purse and allow her to enter the club of fashionable female purses?

Doll up your dress clutching a stylish clutch purse!

Clutch bags a
re usually chic and look extremely modern and cool when held in your hand. The vogue clutch purse gives an “it” factor to whatever outfit that you are wearing. I
n addition to looking so fabulous. clutch bags are easy to carry and can come in extremely handy when you only need to hold a few small items.

Clutch bags, by their pint size alone, look petite and pretty in any hand!

Clutch Purse Fun Fact: The clutch purse became immensely popular during World War II. With rationing, the smaller clutch required less material for manufacture and fit in well with the sensible mindset of that war time environment.

The clutch is simply, well, cute and classy!

What is the best reason for owning a clutch? The glamorous bag is merely too cool to pass up!

What is the least common reason for owning a clutch purse? Limited space.

However, for those of you who travel light, the clutch bag fits just right!

There is a clutch for every hand and a clutch for every occasion!

The clutch bag has become a fashion statement, and a basic necessity for many women! As every woman has her own unique taste when it comes to clothes, the same holds true for her purses.

Release your inner dialogue with your outer dress, highlighted by a charming clutch bag!

Let the power of fashion carry you to a higher realm as you handle a glorious, alluring and off-the-charts attractive clutch purse!

Dare to be a diva and clutch away!

The attention grabbing clutch purse is here to stay, so grip away!

The color brown is a serious, down-to-earth color that signifies stability, structure and support. The color brown also makes us think of chocolate, all varieties of chocolate, from candy bars to ice cream to cake to hot fudge to brownies, and on and on!
And coffee and hot cocoa!
In fashion, the color brown blends beautifully with the fall. Myself, I don’t own many brown clothing items, as brown isn’t a color I particularly wear. I have shades of brown clothing, as in rusts, tans, beige, yellows, and bronze, but deep, chocolate brown, well, I guess I have a reason to go shopping!
Bold browns make a body beautiful!
Brown Fun Fact: Brown is a composite color made by combining red, black and yellow. The color is seen widely in nature, in wood and soil.
Brown Sad Fact: A popular color survey showed that brown was the favorite color of only one percent of respondents and the least favorite color of 20% of people! Do we always believe surveys?
In fall and winter, brown basks in runway glory. From clothes to purses to boots to shoes to jewelry, brown, when worn right, can take the winning crown!
Positive words that are conveyed through the color brown are down-to-earth, wholesome, practical, approachable, friendly, stable, supportive, comforting, reliable, protective, honest and sincere.
Brown is never boring. Mix your brown fashion items with other colors, and you wear your brown splendidly well!
The color brown makes for some gorgeous jewelry, especially when brown stones are blended with other shades of browns, or matching colors of brown. such as ivory, orange and green. These catchy colors all look magnificent when worn with brown!
Behind black, brown is the most popular color for boots! Boots and purses are always hip and stylish in shades of brown, and the color brown can be mixed and matched with many items.
These purses give a new meaning to the term “brown bag” unless you use the in vogue bag to hold your lunch!
Brown Fun Fact: Brown is the second most common color of human hair, after black. Brown hair is caused by higher levels of the natural dark pigment eumelanin, and lower levels of the pale pigment pheomelanin. Brown eumelanin is more common among Europeans, while black eumelanin is more often found in hair on non-Europeans. A small amount of black eumelanin, in the absence of other pigments, results in gray hair. A small amount of brown eumelanin, in the absence of other pigments, results in blond hair.
No matter what your hair color, your shade of lustrous locks will look glorious on top of an outfit devised of brown!
Be the babe in brown anywhere on the town!
The color brown relates to quality, and you will look top quality when you strut your beautiful self in the bold color that is brown!
Brown is sensual and sleek!
Own your fabulous physique when you walk around dressed in brown!
Brown Fun Fact: Brown has been a popular color for military uniforms since the late 18th century, largely because of the color’s wide availability and low visibility!
Low visibility? You can change that false perception, you fashion vixen. In the world of style, brown can carry you through many a mile.
So wear brown and smile!
Haute couture: It’s brown, for sure!

Glitter and all things sparkly are fun and vibrant. Looking at shimmery, bedazzling, fizzy things makes you feel good. When it comes to eye makeup, the more glitter, the more glitz.

I’ve covered glittered eye shadows and colored mascaras, and now I want to entertain you and help you bring out the true pop of your eyes with glitter eyeliner! For any dramatic, stand out eye, eyeliner is a must! Although most eyeliners are black or gray, colored, glittery eyeliner is fabulous for a night on the town, or merely to ramp up the volume of your magnetizing eyes!

I was in a beauty supply store a few days back, picking up a brand of lip gloss that I love (I change colors, but I tend to stick to makeup brands that I have learned work well for me). At the counter, there were numerous bottles of colored, sparkly, glittery eyeliner, so of course, I bought some. I purchased a glorious shade of green and a dark silver, and have I had fun experimenting with them!

Glitter eyeliner adds the extra punch that puts the pow and the pop into the eyes!

I find that glitter eyeliner tends to look best when you brush a swoop under the bottom eyelashes, and directly above the upper eyelashes. I feel that a darker color underneath the eye, and a lighter shade above the eye, works best for me. However, this is fashion and playful fun, so you should wear your glitter eyeliner in whatever way you feel is the best for you!

Dare to be your own vampy, makeup vixen!

Bring out your precious peepers with glitter eyeliner. Whether you prefer a look that is subtle, or an over-the-top, dramatic eye, you should definitely give glitter eyeliner a try!

Glitter Eyeliner Tip: Glitter eyeliner blends well with powdered eye shadows. If the eyeliner is worn with liquid or glitter shadow, the eyeliner tends to get lost in the eye shadow. For maximum contrast, glitter eyeliner highlights powdered eye shadow extremely well!

Glitter eyeliner comes in both pencil format and liquid format. I find that the liquid eyeliner works better for me with glitter eyeliner, yet for my basic black eyeliner, I prefer to use an eyeliner pencil with a sharp point.

Glitter Eyeliner Fun Fact: When applying glitter eyeliner to your upper eyelid, extending the eyeliner a bit past the end of the eye looks pretty and engaging! Flashy and fantastic!

Glitter Eyeliner Fun Fact: Sometimes, when applying glitter eyeliner, some glitter pieces land on your eyelashes, so you may want to apply mascara last. However, a few speckles of glitter over your eyelashes merely adds t
o the loveliness of your glamorous glitter eyes!

For removing glitter eyeliner, I have found that most products that are made to remove your eye makeup work just as well in taking away your glitter eyeliner. Even closing your eyes and dabbing them lightly with
warm water helps to remove the glitter eyeliner. Also, Vaseline works wonders for removing eye makeup!

People look you in the eye all day long, everywhere that you go. So, why not add some sparkle and beauty not only to yourself, but to their vision of you, as well?

Let your eyes truly twinkle!

My oh my, I love the glitter lining your eyes!

Glitter eyeliners and gussied up eyes wear well with softer shades of blush, and nude or pale pink lipsticks and glosses!

Go for the gusto with eyes that have been brought out to glamour girl gorgeousness with glorious shades of glitter eyeliner!

Who is that peeking out from behind those fabulous, glittery eyes?

The eyes have it and you own it!

Step out in confidence and style when you walk a mile in eyes that sparkle and shine!

Cool weather and cool clothes fit together as perfectly as cocoa and whip cream, hamburgers and french fries, and chips and dips! With season breezes and nippy days and nights, ponchos and capes provide a comfort to the wearer that feels just right!

A poncho is an outer garment designed to keep the body warm and to help keep one dry in the rain. A true poncho is a single sheet of fabric, with an opening in the center for the head, and sometimes there is a piece of material that covers the head (hood). The poncho falls over your shoulders, there are no closures and no buttons, and no slits to put your arms through. A cape, on the other hand, usually buttons or unbuttons up the front, has two slits on the sides where the arms go through, and may or may not have a hood.

Ponchos are popular and capes are cool!

With ponchos, your arms remain underneath the entire fabric, but since the material is wide and roomy, you move freely. The cape generally fits a bit closer to the body and your arms are exposed for easy movement.

Drape yourself into marvelous magnificence when you are covered in a poncho or a cape!

Poncho Fun Fact: Ponchos have been used by the Native American people of the Andes since pre-Hispanic times and are now considered typical Southern American garments.

Ponchos and capes are typically sleeveless cloaks, so to speak.

The poncho was one of the typical clothes of the Paracas, a Peruvian, Pre-Inca Culture around 500 B.C.

The poncho is a garment known around the world, and also referred to as the:

  1. Chamanto (central Chile)
  2. Jorongo (large and full-length poncho)
  3. Gaban (Michoacan, Mexico)
  4. Ruana (Colombia and Venezuela)
  5. Zarape or Sarape (Coahuila, North-Eastern Mexico)
  6. Poncho Chilote (Chiloe Archipelago)

Alternative ponchos are now designed as fashion items. Ponchos are often made of wool and heavier materials, as well as crocheted and knitted, yet many ponchos and capes worn today are made to be breathable and comfortable, as opposed to protecting one from the elements of wind and rain!

Make a high fashion statement in a poncho or a cape that is lovely and lightweight! You are such a precious fashion plate!

Poncho Fun Fact: The poncho was first used on a regular basis in the 1850s for irregular United States military forces operating on the U.S. Western Plains. These early ponchos were made of gutta percha muslin, a latex-coated, waterproof cloth (Indian rubber). These ponchos were officially adopted during the American Civil War, both as rain clothing and as a ground sheet for sleeping.

Today, you can start your own fashion war when you don yourself in the delicious dud known as a poncho or a cape!

Poncho and Cape Tip: Ponchos and capes look exceptionally cute and stylish when they are worn with knee high or thigh-high boots! Modern, vogue and sexy! Made to look like a mynx!

Push your way into eye-popping apparel decked out in a pulsating poncho or a chic cape!

Show off your glamour girl grrrrrr walking confidently in a fun, festive, decorative poncho or cape!

Are you attending a party or a celebratory event? How about making an entrance in a colorful, flowing, pretty poncho!

Poncho Sidebar: We used to have a dog named Poncho, but one day he ran away and we have never seen him since, although we searched for him for days, weeks, months! We never found our dear, large dog that was Poncho. I try not to take his leaving personally!

Maybe I’ll go buy me a new poncho in honor of the disappearing pooch!

Ask any jewelry lover to name the most prominent gems and stones found in jewelry, and the pearl will most likely make their list. Pearl jewelry is not only stylish and elegant, but highly coveted and popular.
A pearl is a hard object produced within the soft tissue (specifically the mantle) of a living mollusk. Just like the shell of a clam, the pearl is made up of calcium carbonate in minute crystalline form, which has been deposited in concentric layers. The ideal pearl is perfectly round and smooth, but many other shapes of pearls (baroque pearls) occur.
In jewelry, the value of the pearl is determined by the combination of the luster, color, size, lack of surface flaw and symmetry that are appropriate for the type of pearl under consideration. Among these elements. luster (shine) is the most important differentiator of pearl quality, according to jewelers.
Pearl Fun Fact: The larger the pearl, the more value the pearl holds. Large, perfectly round pearls are rare and highly valued. Teardrop shaped pearls are often used in pendants and earrings.
Pearls can be worn at any time of the year, and both in the daytime and nighttime hours. Various pieces of pearl jewelry, and various colors of pearls, accent numerous types of clothing and shoe ensembles.
Step out in elegant pearl splendor in these knock-out, sensual, pearl laced high heels!
These bedazzled, pearl enhanced pumps give new meaning to the term stepping stones!
Pearl Fun Fact: Pearls, when used as gemstones, are not cut or polished. Pearls having iridescent color are the best pearls to use when making jewelry and buttons.
Clams shells and oysters are the wrappings of these exquisite pearls!
The most popular and valued pearl for jewelry is the white pearl. White pearls often have a tint of ivory or pink to them.  The black pearl is one of the rarest and the most expensive pearls. Black pearls are generally formed in the Middle East and specifically in the Arab gulf.
Pearl Fun Fact: The shine and glare of pearls depends on the reflection and the refraction of light coming from the semi-transparent layers. The less dense the layers, the more shiny the pearl gets. The sparkle coming from some pearls is caused by the overlapping of the sequential layers that break the light on its surface.
No matter the color or the size of the pearl, girls look pretty in pearls!
There is a special vocabulary used among jewelers to describe the length of pearl necklaces. While most necklaces are simply referred to by their physical measurement, pearl necklaces are named by how low they hang when worn around the neck.
Names/Types of Pearl Necklaces:

  1. The Collar: 10 to 13 inches and sits on the throat (usually strands).
  2. The Choker: 14 to 16 inches and nestles at the base of the neck.
  3. Princess Length: 17 to 19 inches and hangs just below the collar bone.
  4. Matinee Length: 20 to 24 inches and falls just above the breasts.
  5. Opera Length: 28 to 35 inches and falls to the breastbone.
  6. Pearl Rope: Measures more than 45 inches and falls any length longer than the opera.

Whether wild or cultured, gem quality pearls are almost always nacreous and iridescent, as the interior of the shell produces them.
Pearl Fun Fact: Freshwater and saltwater pearls may look similar, but they come from different sources. Freshwater pearls form in various species of freshwater mussels, which live in lakes, rivers, ponds and other bodies of fresh water. Saltwater pearls grow within pearl oysters, which live in the ocean.
Whether you go out on the town draped in pearls grown in fresh water or salt water, one thing is certain, you will shimmer and shine in identical glamour girl fashion!
The month of June counts three gems as birthstones: pearl, Alexandrite and moonstone!
Pearl Fun Fact: Because pearls are made primarily of calcium carbonate, pearls can be dissolved in vinegar! Don’t try to dye your pearls at Easter egg dying time!
Whether you are draped in pearl splendor of white, black, pink, blue, champagne, brown or green, when decorated in the chic, expensive, stylish pearl, you will be not only seen, but you will be dressed and fit for a queen!
Pearls have been harvested and cultivated primarily for use in jewelry, but pearls are also stitched into lavish clothing. Pearls have also been crushed and used in cosmetics, medicines and in paint formulas.
The Pearl: Lavish, luscious, lustrous and lovely!
Be the beautiful girl strutting down the street in a bountiful set of pearls!
Not really one to wear pearls? Live dangerously in fashion forward mode and give the pearl a whirl!

If you were to be asked the question, “What color is burgundy?”, you would most likely come up with more than one answer. You may say maroon, or deep red, or a variant of purple, or reddish brown, or Indian red, or cranberry, to name a few. To me, a true burgundy is a rich, royal, dark red. A shade of color that you know when you see it, yet the color is precise. A candy apple red doesn’t count, and purple doesn’t cut it. In order to be burgundy, there must be a shade of deep, regal red.
Burgundy is a dark red color associated with the Burgundy wine of the same name, which in turn is named after the Burgundy region of France.
The color burgundy makes for beautiful makeup! And with autumn on the horizon, and some cooler whether no doubt coming our way, autumn and winter months are perfect times to create a stunning makeup masterpiece on your magnificent face!
In fashion, the color burgundy was the most popular lipstick color among women in the 1990s and early 2000s. In recent years, this regal, royal color has made a lipstick comeback in the high fashion industry.
Dip into glamour girl gorgeousness with the burgundy lip! Cool, suave and hip!
Burgundy lips cannot be ignored, and definitely take over your face with their powerful punch and their glorious pizzazz. When your puckered, pouty lips are coated in bold burgundy, your lips will most certainly emphasize other makeup that you might wear.
When your mouth is adorned in burgundy lipstick or lip gloss, a more natural look to the rest of your makeup makes for a sizzling contrast. Some eye shadow colors that highlight burgundy lips are golds, browns and pastel pinks. A light swoop of pink or purple blush on your cheeks, and black mascara on your eyelashes, polishes this look off nicely.
However, and I really want to make this point here, if you love burgundy and you want to paint all of your fancy facial features in the exquisite color that is burgundy, then go for it! Eyes, cheeks and lips look burgundy wine wonderful when worn together!
Burgundy Lipstick Fun Fact: You are never too young or too old to wear your preferred shade or type of lipstick. Burgundy lips look kissable whether your lipstick is a more subdued, matte finish, or whether your lips shine and shimmer in burgundy, gooey gloss!
To enhance your lips to their fullest pout potential, line your lips with a burgundy or plum color lip liner pencil before applying the lipstick. This not only improves and accentuates the shape of your mouth, but it helps to ensure that your lipstick doesn’t bleed or smudge.
In the realm of the eyes, if your eyes are the windows to your soul, then your eye shadow is the drape that decorates the window! Whether you were born with eyes of bedazzling brown, baby blue, glamorous green or happy hazel, burgundy shades of eye shadow work wonderfully with all colors of eyes, and with all complexions!
Burgundy Fun Fact: When referring to the color, the word burgundy is not usually capitalized. The first recorded use of burgundy as a color name in English was in 1881!
Whatever your skin color and whatever color you have your hair, burgundy cheeks and burgundy nails are flashy, vibrant, sexy colors to wear!
Burgundy Fun Fact: The color burgundy represents vigor, elegance, richness, refinement, leadership, maturity and expensive!
No matter where you are going, let your face make a fabulous, dramatic entrance painted artistically and classically in luxurious, deep red, magical makeup that is burgundy!
Fashion has a place everywhere, in everyday life! Whether you are walking the red carpet or walking the grocery store aisle, walk in regal, royal splendor with brazen, brilliant, bright shades of burgundy!
Colors of clothing that accent burgundy makeup to perfection are shades of tan, cream, gold, black, white and green!
Fall into autumn with a burgundy makeup makeover and have people falling for you!
You breathtaking, beautiful, bombshell belle of burgundy brilliance!
Burgundy Fun Fact: The color burgundy is sometimes used by dream interpreters as a symbol of wealth. Do you dream in color? If so, and you see yourself lying somewhere in the lap of luxury with a face full of burgundy as you snooze away, perhaps you may want to play the lottery when you wake up!
There is no denying that the color burgundy is a becoming, romantic color that resonates fiercely and fashionably with the seasons of fall and winter. However, burgundy can never be ignored or sent to the back of the room. Shades of burgundy makeup stand out in spring and summer, as well.
Burgundy shades never go out of style, not even for a little while!
Beguile in a face of burgundy bliss! It’s those burgundy lips he’ll be dying to kiss!

Hats are so much more than merely pretty head pieces. Hats are stylish, flamboyant, perfect for getting you through a bad hair day, and they can protect your face from the sun, wind and rain. Hats are also the cherry on the sundae of a glorious, haute couture outfit! Hats are different, original, unique and not the everyday norm in most peoples’ day-to-day dress lives, so when you see a great hat covering someone’s head, you notice both the head cover and the person underneath the hat! Immediately!
The head covering known as the hat can be worn for protection against weather and elements, for ceremonial and religious purposes, for safety, and for the purpose of this blog post, as pure fashion fun and grandeur!
Hot fashion, head covering hats!
Haute couture is a term reserved for the highest echelon of artistic creation in the world of fashion. The term haute couture means “high sewing” or “high dressmaking.” It implies custom, artistic, one of a kind garments that are designed and fitted for one specific individual.
As far as hats, fancy, large, eye candy hats definitely look haute couture!
One of the most famous London hatters is James Lock & Co of St. James Street. In the late 20th century, museums credited London-based David Shilling with reinventing hats worldwide. Philip Treacy OBE is an award-winning Irish milliner whose hats have been commissioned by top designers. In North America, the well-known cowboy hat manufacturer Stetson made the head gear for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the Texas Rangers.
Many types of hats are available for practicality, and then there are hats that are merely made to be admired and looked at! Decorative hats at that!
Create a stir with a stunning, red head!
Some popular types of fashion hats include beanies, straw hats, wide-brimmed hats. and wedding hats.  A hat consists of four main parts:

  1. Crown – The portion of the hat the covers the top of the head.
  2. Peak or Visor – A still projection at the front of the hat, to shade or shield the eyes from sun and rain.
  3. Brim – A stiff material from the bottom of the hat’s crown that runs horizontally all around the circumference of the hat.
  4. Sweatband or Headband – A ribbon or band that runs around the bottom of the torso of the hat.

Yes, hats can be all that! And then some! And then more!
Hat Fun Fact: Hat sizes are determined by measuring the circumference of a person’s head about 1/2″ above the ears. Felt hats and crocheted hats will stretch for a custom fit. Some hats, like hard hats and baseball caps, are adjustable. There are some hats that run small, medium and large.
There is definitely a hat for every head, and a hat for every outfit!
Hat Fun Fact: In the first half of the 19th century, women wore bonnets that gradually became larger, decorated with ribbons, flowers, feathers, beads, etc. By the end of the century, many other styles of hats were introduced, among them hats with wide brims and flat crowns (the flower pot and the toque). By the middle of the 1920s, when women began to cut their hair short, hats became popular that hugged the head like a helmut!
Hugging the head or highlighting the head, there is no denying that many hats look and feel high fashion!
The tradition of wearing hats to horse racing events began at the Royal Ascot in Britain, which maintains a strict dress code. All guests in the Royal Enclosure must wear a hat. This tradition was adopted at other horse racing events, such as the Kentucky Derby in the United States.
Bet on the ponies in hot hat style!
Extravagant hats were popular in the 1980s, and in the early 21st century, flamboyant hats made a comeback! Whether you adorn your head in elegant, head gear splendor, or something much more flashy and fiery, let the top of your head tell your tale!
Be the top cat in a grandiose hat! Stealing the show is as easy as that!
Happy and haughty in a hat!
Hat Fun Fact: The Philippi Collection is a collection of religious head gear assembled by German entrepreneur, Dieter Philippi, located in Kirkel. The collection features over 500 hats, and is currently the world’s largest collection of clerical, ecclesiastical and religious head coverings!
By covering your head in the most elegant, or casual, or stylish of hats, you will be uncovering a snippet of your personality and your unique fashion flair, merely by the hat that you choose to wear!
Head turning head coverings: hats!
